About the role
- Prepare monthly and quarterly information for internal and external reporting
- Ensures financial controls are in place to properly record transactions in accordance with group and local accounting principles and practices
- Interface with external parties (auditors, tax authority representatives) on area of responsibility
- Responsible for standardizing accounting processes and implementing best practices to ensure procedures are as efficient and effective as possible
- Evaluates alternatives based on pros/cons
- Provides input on how to manage necessary changes
Requirements
- Business/Finance/Accounting bachelor’s degree
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other business applications
- Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve daily tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
