About the role
- Oversee and advance the quality strategy within the product development lifecycle
- Establish and continuously improve the design quality framework
- Lead quality assurance efforts for new product introductions
- Direct the execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring quality processes
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, PMO and Operations leadership
- Manage and develop the site quality NPI teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience, diversified in multiple quality disciplines
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum. Black belt preferred.
- In depth knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning, ISO standards and processes
- Excellent knowledge in Quality Management tools and techniques including: Requirements cascade, risk assessment, test and validation coverage, Design for Excellence (Dfx), manufacturing process qualification
- Ability to manage various stakeholders to meet quality goals and aspirations
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high quality levels
