About the role
- Territory Manager for the FG WILSON brand in Germany
- Support FG WILSON diesel genset (and extended FG WILSON portfolio) business growth in the region, both through new genset sales and aftermarket service
- Develop new customer business in the assigned region
- Support and develop distribution channels
- Work closely with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and engineering consulting firms to secure early involvement of FG WILSON in all relevant projects
- Continuously grow FG WILSON’s presence in the assigned territories, including organizing and participating in industry workshops, conferences and trade shows (in collaboration with FG WILSON head office)
- Oversee preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with stakeholders at FG WILSON head office
- Manage and support technical and commercial negotiations in coordination with relevant FG WILSON decision-makers, with both direct customers and partners
- Ensure a high level of forecast accuracy for incoming orders and work closely with line management to ensure timely product delivery
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- Specialization in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering or equivalent is an advantage
- Extensive knowledge of the diesel genset market in the assigned region is a strong advantage
- Ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve satisfaction
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and colleagues
- Knowledge of sales strategies and ability to communicate product/service value aligned with customer needs
- Fluent German and business-level English, both written and spoken (minimum B2/C1)
