About the role
- Business development and prospecting
- Identify and target new potential clients within your geographic territory
- Schedule regular face-to-face meetings to present the product/service offering
- Detect business opportunities and propose solutions tailored to prospects' needs
- Follow a structured prospecting plan to achieve defined development objectives
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients to nurture commercial relationships
- Identify new needs, propose upsell opportunities and anticipate requests
- Manage renewals, handle any complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare commercial proposals in line with customer specifics
- Negotiate contractual terms (pricing, lead times, volumes) in accordance with the company's commercial policy
- Close sales and ensure rigorous reporting of results
- Monitor market developments, competitors and local trends
- Proactively suggest possible adaptations to the offering or sales strategy
- Report field feedback to the marketing and technical teams
Requirements
- Minimum Bac+2 commercial qualification (e.g., BTS NDRC, MCO, DUT TC, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in field sales (B2B or B2C)
- Knowledge of the GMS sector and refrigerated display cases is a strong advantage
- Established network within GMS is a major plus (store operators, retail banners, refrigeration technicians, etc.)
- Strong command of sales, negotiation and prospecting techniques
- Comfortable with commercial reporting tools (CRM, Excel, etc.)
- Good knowledge of the local economic fabric and decision-making channels
- Driving license (Category B) required — regular travel across the South-West region
