About the role
- Provide specialized knowledge of quality systems and plant processes
- Involved in preparation and participation of customer audits
- Audit production processes, raw materials, suppliers and vendors
- Work closely with cross functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, nonconformities or other quality failures
- Ensure compliance with formal external and internal quality standards
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints and provide guidance
- Lead the nonconforming materials program for the plant
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Experience in conducting food safety audits
