About the role
- Work rotating shifts operating the pre-treatment and biodiesel areas to ensure continuous operation of the process, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the departments.
- Monitor the process through laboratory analyses performed at various stages to ensure the final product meets Cargill’s quality standards.
- Ensure continuous operation of the pre-treatment and biodiesel areas.
- Perform periodic sampling of all process stages (pre-treatment and biodiesel) and conduct analyses and/or send samples to the laboratory for analysis.
- Operate the process to ensure product quality parameters are met, based on analyses from all process stages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area to meet the company's required standards.
- Participate in safety trainings provided periodically by the company.
- Actively assist in training new employees joining the area.
- Maintain direct and effective communication with the laboratory and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) teams, and act proactively to anticipate potential issues related to quality and effluent generation.
- Ensure personal safety and integrity, as well as the protection of company assets, by following the area's safety and operational procedures.
- Cover the specialist technician position during meal break rotations.
