About the role
- Design and implement data solutions using Databricks SQL and PowerBI to support business intelligence initiatives
- Develop and optimize data models, queries, and reports within the Databricks environment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand regulatory analytical requirements
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations for actionable insights
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance
- Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate data from various sources
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and data pipelines
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Three (3) years of experience in data analytics or engineering roles, focusing on Databricks and SQL
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing data solutions using Databricks SQL and business intelligence platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Databricks SQL coding, ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
- Proficiency in using Databricks business intelligence platform or Power BI to create reports and dashboards
- Strong skills in designing and implementing data models that support analytical requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis and mining techniques
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
