About the role
- Sourcing Strategy / Channel Development - Collaborate with various Human Resources (HR) Managers, HR Representatives, and functional managers to develop sourcing strategies while supporting the Company’s employment brand.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with universities, colleges, technical, and vocational schools with assistance from the Recruiting Manager and various HR Managers and Representatives.
- Stay informed of trends in sourcing, technology, and communication to maintain an effective sourcing strategy.
- Create and maintain sourcing channels.
- Assist with the design and implementation of sourcing programs to maximize return on recruiting investment and increase cost effectiveness and efficiency of the hiring process.
- Identify areas of improvement to ensure delivery of high quality of service to the client base.
- Research, recommend, and implement new sourcing strategies to effectively recruit source active and passive candidates.
- Share best practices with HR Managers and HR Representatives.
- Provide feedback to the Recruiting Manager on recruiting issues.
- Sourcing Assistance - Conduct sourcing activities on a daily basis in areas assigned by the Recruiting Manager.
- Conduct recruiting as assigned and provide support for Human Resources (HR) Representatives or Recruiters during peak recruitment, vacations, or illnesses.
- Maintain an awareness of openings in the company and source qualified candidates to the assigned HR Representative.
- Conduct recruiting, sourcing, and hiring practices in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
- Miscellaneous - Develop and maintain relationships with external employment agencies and other recruiting sources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-4 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Frequent travel (6-20%)
- Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)
- 4+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a related field (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field (preferred)
- Experience with ATS platforms (preferred)
- A passion for connecting people with opportunities (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines (preferred)
- Customer service mindset with a passion for providing a great candidate experience (preferred)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques (LinkedIn, Indeed, Boolean Search) (preferred)
- Experience in managing multiple requisitions at once while delivering a positive candidate experience (preferred).
