About the role

  • Develop engagement planning documentation for assigned areas
  • Design and execute appropriate audit procedures to verify the effectiveness of internal controls
  • Document auditee processes and procedures, review and analyze evidence, and identify potential issues
  • Prepare clear, organized, and complete documentation to support work performed
  • Establish and maintain good client and team relations during engagements
  • Effectively communicate information and audit progress to team, clients and auditor-in-charge
  • Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and feedback to audit staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in auditing, credit risk management, financial analysis, or a combination
  • Master’s Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Preferred)
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk Management at a large bank or financial services organization (Preferred)
  • Extensive experience in credit policy or underwriting from a financial institution or consulting (Preferred)
