About the role
- Lead large complex initiatives by providing strategic direction to partners, peers, and direct reports
- Understand the financial system value stream
- Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure initiatives deliver on intent
- Partner cross-functionally with customers to gather and document requirements related to system configuration changes
- Administer system configuration changes
- Participate in peer review meetings to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
- Recommend changes or modifications to the existing processes and standards
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of processes that impact the GL and other finance platforms.
- Coach and develop a team of associates
- Effectively interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Accounting OR Finance OR a combination
- At least 2 years of direct people management experience
- 9+ years of experience in Accounting OR Finance OR a combination (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Financial System or Workday or Oracle or a combination (preferred)
- 1+ years’ experience in an Agile Environment (preferred)
- Experience working on projects using an Agile framework, preferably Scrum or Kanban (preferred)
- Previous experience with Jira (preferred)
- Previous experience with Birst, Tableau and SQL (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant license (preferred)
