About the role
- Lead a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create robust, cloud native, resilient, and highly scalable solutions in data management and security domains
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence and high energy through coaching and improvement
- Help accelerate adoption of the very best engineering practices, while staying updated on industry innovations
- Promote a culture of craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of solutions
- Guide stakeholders in design and architecture discussions
- Communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- At least 4 years of people management experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering in one or more of the following: GoLang, Java, Python, React, Rust, or C++
- 3+ years of experience in two or more of the following: GoLang, Java, Python, Lua, React, Nginx, Rust, or C++
- 5+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 5+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of experience in Big Data, Data Security, Governance and Controls
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
