About the role

  • Contribute to the entire data-to-model lifecycle
  • Identify challenges and opportunities through data analysis
  • Perform analytics and research to assist the development of new AI/ML tools and models
  • Conduct user research, market research, and research on the latest AI and ML methods
  • Help assess risk and monitor against the risks of leveraging AI/ML products
  • Own the end-to-end data to model lifecycle; develop hypotheses, test and analyze, solution development, and lead implementation efforts
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including Product, Engineering, Data Analysis, and Data Science, Compliance and Risk and others

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
  • At least 1 year of experience in analysis
  • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Science (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in model development or management (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in market, user, or product research (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis (preferred)
  • Fluency in modern AI/ML topics (preferred)
