About the role

  • Driving revenue growth across regulated industries
  • Lead and coach a team of Enterprise AEs covering Government, Healthcare, and Nonprofit accounts across North America.
  • Accelerate Canva Enterprise adoption in highly complex, compliance-driven environments with significant variation in procurement, risk posture, and contracting requirements.
  • Bring direct and recent experience leading sales into U.S. Government — Federal and/or State & Local.
  • Guide AEs through procurement rules, statutory requirements, budget cycles, competitive processes, offline purchasing pathways, and multi-layered oversight found in public sector environments.
  • Extend Canva’s reputation for exceptional user experience into regulated industries.
  • Coach AEs to partner effectively with IT/security teams, procurement officials, program leaders, and executive sponsors across GHNFP.
  • Establish clear processes, cadences, and expectations that reinforce disciplined execution: pipeline development, deal inspection, forecasting, outbound strategy, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Strengthen performance management, enablement, and coaching frameworks that support both accountability and internal mobility.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain Enterprise sellers who can succeed in GHNFP’s unique operating environment.
  • Provide structure, confidence, and clarity for early-career AEs as they grow into enterprise-ready sellers.
  • Collaborate deeply with Legal, Security, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Support, Product, and Marketing. Champion compliance, procurement, and risk alignment essential to GHNFP customer success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven success managing individual sellers in Enterprise SaaS, including complex and regulated sales motions.
  • Direct and recent experience leading U.S. Government sales—Federal, State & Local, or both.
  • Strong experience negotiating with government entities and deep knowledge of government procurement regulations and policy.
  • Experience coaching early-career AEs and developing them into confident, capable enterprise sellers.
  • Ability to sustain a strong rhythm of business and consistent sales execution, including structured weekly cadences, disciplined pipeline practices, and clarity around operational excellence.
  • Rigorous forecast management with a focus on deal qualification, deal control, inspection, and progression from 0–100%.
  • Depth in coaching outbound sales strategy, including building repeatable, high-quality outbound motions across GHNFP accounts.
  • Understanding of public sector, healthcare network, and nonprofit procurement environments.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and turn them into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Self-starter—accessible, collaborative, and grounded in high trust and accountability.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, consistently driving clarity, focus, and results.
