About the role

  • Application Development: Develop web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Software Architecture: Design and build robust, scalable software architectures that ensure application efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex development issues, including bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other developers, designers, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure excellent delivery.
  • Code Maintenance: Continuously maintain and improve existing code, ensuring quality and readability.
  • Testing and Debugging: Perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing to guarantee code quality.
  • Clear Communication: Participate in strategic client meetings for planning, adjustments, and development of new features.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Technical Upkeep: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web and application development.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS (Sass), JavaScript/jQuery, PHP 8+ (object-oriented programming, traits, interfaces, design patterns, SOLID principles), Laravel, PostgreSQL, Redis, Git, Docker.
  • Ability to understand complex systems and resolve critical issues.
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with large-scale applications and high request volumes.
  • Preferred: CI/CD, Cloudflare, Terraform, GCP.
