About the role
- Responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems.
- Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensure software standards are met.
- Provide engineering support for technical implementation of cyber solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis and reverse engineering development of computer network operations tools.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build and optimize secure, high-performance systems using AWS services and architectures.
- Monitor and manage cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure application delivery.
- Ensure platform reliability through robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- AWS cloud services and offerings.
- Expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, specifically Amazon EKS.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration workflows (desired).
- Familiarity with Databricks for data engineering and analytics workloads (desired).
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques (desired).
- Experience implementing security best practices in cloud and containerized environments (desired).
