About the role
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale, complex projects within a project-based delivery model
- Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, process flows, resource requirements, and business cases
- Communicate progress, facilitate meetings, and escalate issues quickly to ensure deliverables
- Drive change management across internal and external stakeholders, leading without authority and challenging appropriately
- Serve as the primary point of contact, accountable for all project activities and requests
- Deliver projects on time, on budget, and with high-quality solutions
- Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and workflows
- Build strong relationships with project teams and customer stakeholders
- Track and report project financials, including budgets, resource hours, and billings
- Mentor and guide project team members to foster collaboration and success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically)
- Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
- Work and/or project experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics (preferred)
- Strong communication skills: strong listener with exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to tell the story and connect to your audience (preferred)
- Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels (preferred)
- Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment (preferred)
- Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight (preferred)
- Experience working directly with customers (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (preferred)
- Experience with lean processes and tools (preferred)
