About the role

  • Lead and manage multiple large-scale, complex projects within a project-based delivery model
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, process flows, resource requirements, and business cases
  • Communicate progress, facilitate meetings, and escalate issues quickly to ensure deliverables
  • Drive change management across internal and external stakeholders, leading without authority and challenging appropriately
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, accountable for all project activities and requests
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and with high-quality solutions
  • Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and workflows
  • Build strong relationships with project teams and customer stakeholders
  • Track and report project financials, including budgets, resource hours, and billings
  • Mentor and guide project team members to foster collaboration and success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically)
  • Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
  • Work and/or project experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills: strong listener with exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to tell the story and connect to your audience (preferred)
  • Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels (preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels (preferred)
  • Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment (preferred)
  • Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight (preferred)
  • Experience working directly with customers (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (preferred)
  • Experience with lean processes and tools (preferred)
