About the role
- You'll be working fully remotely! So, whether in pajama pants and a button-down or taking calls at a coffee shop, you design where and how you work each day.
- You will work with a variety of clients, requiring the ability to shift contexts, communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and evaluate needs.
- You'll have the opportunity to build robust accounting processes and systems for our clients. Understanding and embracing the agile and scrappy nature of startups is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CIMA Qualification preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online. Bonus points if you have experience using the classes feature of QBO.
- Proficiency in learning and adapting to new systems.
- Experience working remotely and developing strong team relationships based on trust and accountability.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to follow established policies and procedures accurately.
- High level of confidentiality while working with sensitive client data.
