- We're launching several exciting new projects and are particularly keen to speak with Python Tech Leads who are immediately available or have a 1 - 2 weeks notice period. If you’re passionate about Python and ready to take a hands-on technical lead role guiding engineering decisions whilst staying close to the code, we’d love to hear from you.
Requirements
- **Essential Behaviour**
- - A passion for engineering and a desire to keep learning
- - A focus on writing clear, concise code that is easy to maintain
- - An ability to be pragmatic when required and avoid unnecessary “gold-plating”
- - An understanding that quality is everyone’s responsibility and a strong desire to test your own code
- - Comfortable working with others in pairing or mobbing scenarios
- - A good communicator who shares our values of openness and respect
- **Essential Experience**
- - Experienced in Python, specifically Flask
- - Experience Providing technical direction across projects, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring best-practice engineering standards
- - Experience Mentoring and supporting engineers of all levels, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- - Experience working with Postgres
- - Experience designing and writing APIs, especially REST APIs
- - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- - Experience working with AWS (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- - Experience with cloud-native patterns across AWS and Azure
- - Experience with Docker, scripting, and deployments across Azure and Openshift
