About the role
- Assist in evaluating structural concept and details of projects and assist in carrying out independent analysis and checking to ensure safety and compliance with BCA and relevant authorities' requirements.
- Assist Senior Engineer to plan and coordinate with clients or ground agencies for inspection works on site.
- Assist in carrying out independent inspections of existing building structures or other types of structures and identify and defects and the scope of suitable repairs.
- Assist in reporting the outcome of the inspection to the Senior Engineer and prepare inspection reports in designated formats.
- Assist in conducting site checks on the repair works in building structures, in accordance with approved methods and procedures proposed by the Senior Engineer, Specifications and instructions.
- Any other tasks assigned as and when necessary.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication and teamwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of project management tools is a plus
