About the role
- Receives and records work orders based on service requests
- Makes decisions on Inspector qualification appropriate to assignments
- Dispatches field personnel for assignments
- Ensures information is distributed and understood by all parties
- Reports non-conformance issues to management
- Participates in investigations into discrepancies
- Manages paperwork flow in the office
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- More than five years experience as an Inspector or similar position
- Knowledge of company HS&E procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to understand and plan for effective performance of work assignments
- Drivers license required
