About the role

  • Receives and records work orders based on service requests
  • Makes decisions on Inspector qualification appropriate to assignments
  • Dispatches field personnel for assignments
  • Ensures information is distributed and understood by all parties
  • Reports non-conformance issues to management
  • Participates in investigations into discrepancies
  • Manages paperwork flow in the office

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • More than five years experience as an Inspector or similar position
  • Knowledge of company HS&E procedures and governmental regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to understand and plan for effective performance of work assignments
  • Drivers license required
