About the role

  • Responsible for the specification, implementation and testing of software modules and applications for controlling personalization systems
  • Developing and implementing new features as well as optimizing existing software solutions
  • Designing and enhancing user-friendly interfaces
  • Ensuring the quality, stability and performance of software products
  • Creating and maintaining development documentation and technical specifications
  • Travel to customer sites for support, system commissioning and on-site training

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a comparable scientific discipline
  • Several years of experience in software development for machinery
  • Solid programming skills in C#/.NET, specifically: C# 10.0, WPF .NET, Entity Framework and Dependency Injection
  • Practical experience with OPC-UA and REST
  • Knowledge in developing PLC interfaces (OPC-UA) and software architecture – desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience commissioning machines and knowledge of TwinCAT 3 IEC 61131 are advantageous
  • Confident use of Git and experience with Test Driven Development
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2 level)
