About the role

  • Develop and implement software solutions for automation engineering
  • Analyze requirements and create software concepts
  • Program control and monitoring systems
  • Integrate software components into existing systems
  • Conduct testing and troubleshoot issues
  • Optimize and further develop existing software solutions
  • Travel to support customers, commission systems and deliver on-site training

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Solid experience in software development with TwinCAT 3
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C# and Python
  • Knowledge of control and regulation technology
  • Experience with automation systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA or DCS) is an advantage
  • Good understanding of network technologies and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, OPC, EtherCAT)
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
  • Independent, structured working style combined with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent German, spoken and written, at a minimum B2 level for secure communication in the workplace
