About the role

  • Customer management and support
  • New customer acquisition as well as support and development of key account customers (focus: single-tier retail)
  • Preparation and conduct of client meetings, annual reviews, trade shows & events (in-person & virtual)
  • Conducting regular store checks for market and competitor monitoring
  • Leading price and assortment negotiations to secure and increase sales and profit targets
  • Preparing sales and budget planning for your area of responsibility
  • Producing regular reports and analyses on sales development and market performance
  • Strategic development and acquisition of new sales channels
  • Participation in cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the FMCG and retail environment
  • Solid knowledge of negotiation, budget and sales planning
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market data tools (e.g., Nielsen, GfK, Circana)
  • High customer orientation, strong communication skills and a confident manner
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows and store checks
