About the role
- Aggressively prospect and develop new business opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region, with a focus on specific verticals (ex: federal government) and enterprise accounts
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and distribution channels to drive revenue growth
- Understand and prioritize strategic partnerships, leveraging these relationships to expand market presence
- Represent BrightSign at industry trade shows and events; travel regularly throughout the territory (estimated 25%)
Requirements
- 8-10 years of business development experience with a well-recognized technology-based sales and marketing driven company, reseller or distributor
- Proven track record as a sales hunter with experience in complex solution selling and major account management
- Extra consideration for experience in AV, digital signage, digital advertising, or business solutions product lines
- Familiarity with multi-tier distribution channels including VARs, distributors, dealers, POP display companies, and system integrators
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; adept at leveraging social media and digital tools for outreach
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Hoovers, and LinkedIn
- Organized and detail oriented in opportunity tracking and other administrative tasks
- Genuine enthusiasm for BrightSign products and helping customers create impactful experiences
