About the role
- Designing, building, overseeing, and managing the implementation of networks and network projects to meet the needs of manufacturing facilities in the EMEA region.
- Leading a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support and conducting performance evaluations.
- Working closely with other IT/OT teams to ensure the best network practices and standards.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Reviewing and optimizing security measures, monitoring network performance, and identifying areas of improvement.
- Ensuring network reliability, security, and efficiency in a cost-conscious way.
- Defining network architecture (LAN, WLAN, firewalls, and load-balancers), standards, and best practices to be implemented across the plants.
- Assessing manufacturing solutions implementations by the plants in line with the architecture and the security standards and policies.
- Leading delivery of roadmaps and budget guidelines for network-related projects and initiatives across the plant.
- Driving knowledge-sharing activities via communities of practices (CoP).
- Managing network lifecycle and Reference Architecture projects.
- Coordinating with vendors and service providers services, support and procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Sciences or Telecommunication Engineering
- Cisco Certified Professional (CCNP or equivalent)
- Fortinet NSE4 Certification
- Cybersecurity certifications like ISA-62443 will be valued
- +5 years of professional IT experience in network administrator role and team leadership
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Network technologies
- Working experience of Infrastructure (Datacenter and Cloud).
- Professional working proficiency in English required.
- Knowledge of other European languages as Spanish, Italian, Polish or Hungarian is an asset.
- Ability to influence and motivate teammates and other internal or external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills are necessary to communicate to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other IT teams and external partners.

- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting & problem resolution
- Customer focus with special attention service operations and SLAs.
