About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the delivery of Line 1 risk management activities across a broad portfolio of initiatives and business operations.
- Identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting of risks, controls and issues.
- Providing practical guidance to stakeholders on risk impacts.
- Contributing to risk and materiality assessments and reviewing treatment plans.
- Supporting the effective management of risk events, issues, and remediation activities.
- Uplifting risk capability across the business by promoting a proactive risk culture and supporting training.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in risk management, ideally within financial services.
- Strong understanding of non-financial risk in complex and regulated environments.
- Confident identifying risks and assessing control effectiveness.
- Experience in Line 1 risk, control design, risk assessment, and management of issues, incidents or remediation activities.
- Relevant qualifications in risk, business or finance, along with professional certifications.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
