About the role
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software
- Create and manage user interfaces with HTML and JavaScript
- Utilize MSSQL databases for data management and retrieval
- Implement messaging patterns to enhance application scalability
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Build and integrate complex software tools to enhance the product's reliability and scalability
- Support the setting up of development and production environments, deployment of application devices
- Develop best practices/methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
- 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C#
- 3+ years of experience working with shell scripting in a Linux/Unix hosting environment
- Experience in an agile work environment
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell
- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with Windows batch scripting (preferred)
- Experience with code management and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools like GitLab, Azure, and DevOps (preferred)
- Experience with Angular framework (preferred)
- Experience with cloud services and deployment (preferred)
- Experience with CAD/CAM Engineering and migrating CAD data to other formats (preferred)
- Experience with RESTful API development (preferred)
- Experience communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all development roles and levels, with clear calls to action (preferred)
