About the role

  • Coordinates with Bird Electric team members to obtain Bird procurement needs
  • Creates electronic Purchase Orders within the Foundation procurement system
  • Prepares, issues and manages the PO process
  • Ensures approvals are obtained prior to PO issue
  • Is capable of handling a large volume of transactions
  • Issues change orders based on changes in procurement requirements
  • Receives and pays invoices
  • Runs reports to track vendor PO's and invoice payment
  • Coordinates and troubleshoots PO and invoicing issues with vendors
  • Files documents for record purposes and follows Corporate and project filing rules
  • Administrative tasks, as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Preferred BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
