Systems Engineer

• The Senior Windows Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading the Window system engineers and administrators responsible for the installation, upgrade, and migration of servers on the Windows OS Platform as required to enhance application security & performance.
• The Senior Engineer will work with the Business and Application development teams to gather requirements and develop both tactical and strategic solutions to ensure technical objectives of the company are met.
• This position is responsible for providing oversight and guidance, as well as performing administrative responsibilities when required for both the enterprise Windows Server environment on-premise and in Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
• The individual in this role will lead the team to provide all levels of support for the enterprise active directory environment, email (Microsoft O365) and Microsoft Azure.
• The purpose of the role is to ensure the availability, stability, and consistent performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability of our corporate windows server environment & applications.
• This is a “hands-on” position requiring strong technical skills, as well as excellent informal leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mange team of approximately 6 Window Engineer/Administrators, both in house employees and offshore consultants.
• Support & administrate Windows Server environment with new installation, upgrades and patching
• Support the enterprise active directory environment including Azure Active Directory
• Responsible for the support and administration of the Microsoft O365 Exchange environment
• Support and administrate windows server nodes within virtualized environments
