About the role
- Technical support for the development of new products, including preparation of artwork, assessment of feasibility for domestic production, and creation of schedules and flowcharts detailing the production process.
- Interface with raw-material and packaging suppliers, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and technical specifications according to each project’s requirements.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, proposing alternatives to reduce expenses without compromising final product quality.
- Serve as the point of contact between R&D teams (Japan/USA), Product Development and Global Production, ensuring accurate exchange of technical information and alignment of processes.
- Provide technical support to local production by monitoring stages of the manufacturing process and identifying opportunities to optimize performance, quality and cost.
- Plan and monitor local production activities, ensuring alignment between input supply, production capacity and market demand.
- Research and evaluate potential domestic suppliers, supporting the supplier qualification/homologation process together with the relevant departments.
- Participate in the execution of new product and process projects, tracking timelines, milestones and deliverables and ensuring steps are completed according to the defined schedule.
- Provide technical follow-up of pilot batches in partnership with the production team to identify and correct deviations before large‑scale manufacturing.
- Support the development and adaptation of packaging, integrating marketing and production requirements to ensure technical compliance and market fit.
- Ensure compliance of product and process specifications, reconciling the needs of internal and external stakeholders with local production capabilities.
- Attend project follow‑up meetings, contributing technical information, identifying risks and proposing solutions to keep schedules on track.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in project management, innovation, quality assurance, packaging development, production and/or continuous improvement.
- Intermediate to advanced English, for preparing reports and conducting meetings.
