About the role
- Create, update, and maintain the tribe’s product delivery roadmap, ensuring it reflects strategic priorities, dependencies, and deployment timelines.
- Partner with tribe leaders to prioritise initiatives based on business value, user needs, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Communicate the roadmap vision, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including product and tech leadership, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Identify and manage high-level dependencies between squads or product components within the tribe.
- Monitor progress against the tribe roadmap, spotting delays, bottlenecks, or scope changes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate tribe-level risks (e.g., resource constraints, technical debt, market changes, regulatory shifts).
- Review and advise on capacity management and resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates on roadmap execution and delivery health to tribe leadership, the Delivery Assurance Manager, and governance boards.
- Collaborate with Agile Coaches to identify trends and opportunities for improvement across squads and the tribe.
- Define and track key performance metrics for delivery success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery coordination, project management, or a similar role within a product-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and delivery practices, with experience working in tribe or squad structures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable defining and using metrics to track performance and identify improvements.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira for roadmap tracking and data quality oversight.
- Ability to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborative approach, with experience partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams.
