About the role
- Move and reset classroom and office furniture
- Load, move, and distribute boxes and supplies
- Assist with general summer cleaning of walls, windows, and storage areas
- Power wash buildings, student desks, chairs, and outdoor surfaces
- Support minor repairs and maintenance of playground equipment and facilities
- Assist day porters with facility cleaning during summer sessions and events
- Assist in storage organization and cleanup efforts
- Setup and prep rooms and facilities before and after summer events
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- Support curriculum relocation and classroom organization
- Follow all safety and dress code guidelines
Requirements
- Some construction experience preferred
- Ability to take instruction and work independently
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and remain on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot/humid conditions
