About the role
- Define the safety strategy for the Dole site
- Implement and monitor the safety policy
- Provide support to assist employees in risk prevention efforts
- Facilitate and monitor the safety committee and the overall action plan
- Lead the annual update of the Single Risk Assessment Document (Document Unique)
- Coordinate the safety training plan
- Act as the primary point of contact with local authorities and the corporate group on safety matters
- Maintain and update the safety audit schedule
- Manage incidents and perform incident analyses
- Responsible for fire prevention and firefighting measures
- Ensure the plant's practices comply with legal and regulatory standards
Requirements
- University degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a managerial role at an industrial site
- Knowledge of industrial environments and associated constraints
- Proficiency in safety management techniques and methods
- Strong technical aptitude
- Proficient with computer tools (Microsoft Office suite)
- Fluent in English
