About the role
- Coordinating and monitoring production processes of Dispersions Plant (Polyline 1 – 45 kt and Polyline 2 – 55 kt), Pasir Gudang under the directions of Plant Manager - Dispersions.
- Managing production and striving for excellence in Safety, Cost, Quality, Productivity and Moral aspects.
- Ensuring smooth functioning of production plants by coordinating with required support and service functions.
- Lead Safety, Health and Environment at workplace.
- Responsible for reviewing the performance of the team members and appraise them.
- Monitor process flow, capacity utilization, safety at the workplace, downtime due to breakdowns, and availability of resources for achieving required productivity.
- Plan the production schedule on a daily/monthly basis with coordinate with Supply Chain team, quality department & Engineering.
- Continuous improvement of processes in coordination with the Plant Manager - Dispersions and quality control to reduce batch cycle times, increase yields, increase operational ease and ultimately lead to cost-effective production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 8+ Years (with 5+ years’ experience in Chemical Industry)
- Strong fundamentals in Chemical engineering
- Good interpersonal, leadership and time management skills with ability to interact in a multiple hierarchical level.
- Continuous improvement techniques and methods including, overall asset effectiveness, statistical techniques.
