About the role

  • Provide support to business units in the preparation of company income statements, focusing on cost center allocations, variance analysis, and monthly EBIT reporting.
  • Execute and support all tasks related to billing not associated with the company’s core business.
  • Perform daily and monthly activities related to Cost Center Accounting, Income Statement, and Non-Trade processes for BASF companies and businesses in the Americas.
  • Process monthly expense distribution across various cost objects, generating income statements that support business decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency of information between the financial and management modules.
  • Provide and analyze the correct allocation of monthly and annual income statement items.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve process design and flow, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency through new technologies.
  • Support key organizational tasks such as audits, internal controls, and implementation of process improvements.

Requirements

  • Graduates or advanced students in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in financial roles
  • Fluent English required; Portuguese is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is valued
  • Strong analytical skills, customer focus, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to organize and prioritize tasks.
