About the role

  • Plan, manage, and execute complex projects at pilot and plant scales
  • Conduct and participate in all phases of plant trial execution including planning, setup, execution, data generation, and data analysis
  • Lead the development of new products/processes and provide technical support to the existing product lines including troubleshooting and process optimization
  • Work directly with customers to custom tailor products for their application
  • Provide manufacturing support to operations and mentor new engineers including on the floor technical support for CCP processes
  • Assist with troubleshooting of equipment
  • Document updated or new manufacturing procedures for product and process improvement
  • Plan and lead manufacturing trials for existing and new products at the Seneca CCP site
  • Manage the transfer of new products to the Seneca site including developing operating procedures, specifications, emissions estimates, etc.
  • Assure the effectiveness and accuracy of operating procedures as a trusted resource for technical and problem-solving expertise
  • Investigate and close NCMs, and develop and implement Management of Change (MoC) protocols
  • Manage process safety for CCP in Seneca by leveraging past experience in process safety.
  • Participate in Clean Sheet Reviews and Revalidation of PHAs as needed

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience
  • Possess a solid understanding of solids manufacturing processes, including extrusion, calcination, coating, and drying
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels within the site
  • Hold certification as a PHA Team Leader (preferred)
  • Bring Lean Six Sigma experience (a plus)
  • Have strong computer proficiency.
  • Are a self-starter with proven leadership, influencing, and teamwork capabilities.
