About the role

  • Support execution of budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
  • Lead and continuously improve global business reporting processes for BASF Digital Farming
  • Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Co-develop and implement the strategy for business steering and reporting, aligned with long-term business objectives
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, contributing to key decisions and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Drive digitalization and automation of reporting processes using tools such as SAP, Power BI, and AI tools
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices in controlling

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience, including initial leadership responsibilities
  • Expert knowledge in controlling, forecasting and reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP (including CO-PA) and databases
  • Strong analytical thinking and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
