About the role
- Manage the entire sales cycle end-to-end
- Take full ownership of mid-market and enterprise sales cycles
- Drive all phases: qualification, in-depth discovery, tailored demo, business case, negotiation, and closing
- Be able to build a clear ROI tailored to each account and specific challenge
- Structure the pipeline with discipline (MEDDICc methodology or equivalent)
- Grow your portfolio through proactive, outbound initiatives
- Build and manage your own list of priority accounts, in coordination with the Acquisition team
- Execute direct prospecting activities (targeting, ABM, events)
- Work with your dedicated Lead Gen specialist to feed your pipeline
- Engage C-level decision-makers as well as heads of e-commerce, IT, supply chain, and omnichannel
- Work on strategic market accounts
- Address brands, retailers, DNVBs (digitally native vertical brands), omnichannel players, and industrial groups
- Identify technology needs (OMS, order/flow management, integrations, logistics, WMS)
- Coordinate internal stakeholders: Tech, Product, Marketing, Customer Success
- Negotiate and structure mid-market / enterprise deals
- Build bespoke/customized proposals
- Handle contractual negotiations (pricing, SLAs, functional scope)
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility
- Ensure a clean handover to Customer Success and Implementation teams
- Represent Base.com within the ecosystem
- Attend trade shows, conferences, webinars, and partner meetings
- Act as a senior brand ambassador to retail and e-commerce decision-makers
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (mid-market / enterprise)
- Experience in the e-commerce / retail / marketplace ecosystem strongly preferred
- Preferably with experience at companies such as OneStock, Shopify Plus, Pennylane, Odoo, Akeneo, Mirakl, ChannelEngine, Lengow, etc.
- Strong mastery of complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Ability to create value and support strategic initiatives (OMS, omnichannel, marketplace, integrations)
- Methodical, organized, results-oriented closer
- French and English mandatory – Spanish is a plus
