About the role
- Define and maintain a product vision that aligns objectives with overall customer experience goals.
- Prioritize a backlog of enhancements, integrations, and new features based on impact, compliance urgency, and stakeholder input.
- Partner closely with specialists, legal/compliance, technologists, and data analytics to surface process gaps and opportunities.
- Facilitate regular grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions with cross functional teams, ensuring shared understanding of acceptance criteria.
- Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.
- Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business.
- Translate complex workflows into detailed functional and non-functional specifications (user stories, acceptance tests, data models).
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment, preferably within operational or regulatory environments.
- Excellent written and verbal skills; adept at translating business needs into precise technical artifacts.
- Familiarity with privacy, consumer protection, and financial compliance frameworks.
- JIRA/Confluence, Tableau/Alteryx, basic SQL; familiarity with workflow modelling is a plus.
- Analytical and design-oriented mindset
- Testing/QA experience desired
- Data driven and metrics/ results oriented
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
