About the role

  • Advise a business unit of over 300 people on cloud-based capabilities.
  • Help customers understand and adopt FinOps practices.
  • Collaborate with product architects and engineering teams to architect solutions with cost considered from the outset.
  • Develop FinOps strategies and approaches to optimise cloud investments.
  • Influence architectural decisions and champion FinOps principles.

Requirements

  • Applying FinOps principles to drive cloud efficiency and cost optimisation in large-scale environments.
  • Deep understanding of AWS technologies, pricing models, and cost management tools.
  • Advising on cloud architecture to embed cost efficiency and scalability.
  • Developing and marketing FinOps offerings to customers, including creating compelling value propositions.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to align cloud efficiency strategies with business objectives.
  • Building business cases for cloud optimisation initiatives supported by robust data and analysis.
  • Familiarity with government or regulated environments (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Security Clearance is required for this role. If you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible and willing to go through the process.
