About the role

  • Accelerate the work of the People and Places (PPL) organization’s Portfolio, Planning, and Programs
  • Provide operational support for PPL’s portfolio, planning, and program work including OKR management, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and operational rhythms and hygiene
  • Enable the wider PPL planning ecosystem by building reliable, repeatable processes for planning and delivery ensuring clarity on goals and timelines
  • Work directly with the PPL Sr. Portfolio & Planning Manager to shape how work is delivered at scale
  • Establish strong partnerships to connect strategy to execution across projects and ensure collaboration across PPL functions
  • Document and role model effective decision-making and teamwork in ambiguous and high-visibility situations
  • Implement planning operating rhythms, norms, and practices, and continually improve frameworks, mechanisms, and tools to enable program planning and execution
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with end users, partners, and stakeholders to gather insights, test solutions, and ensure successful change adoption and impactful results

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of work experience in operational planning and program management
  • Prior experience implementing and upleveling efficient and effective organizational planning rhythms
  • Data-driven decision maker with evidence of roles that required analytical thinking to drive results
  • Comfort and confidence working across multiple systems and tools to drive results
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with proven ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders in parallel with high levels of quality and impact
  • Agile approach to working with an orientation to pragmatic problem solving
  • Demonstrated global program management capability in a complex matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience of leading with indirect authority
  • Experience working within a complex global organization and planning tools (e.g., Airtable) (Preferred)
  • BA/BS in relevant field (Business, human resources, management, etc.) (Preferred)
  • Motivated by the opportunity to build and create something (Ideal Candidate)
