About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of benefits analysts/partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
- Own and evolve Autodesk’s U.S. benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with employee needs
- Develop and execute a multi-year benefits roadmap that reflects business priorities, workforce trends, and employee feedback
- Lead annual enrolment processes end-to-end, including vendor coordination, communications, and compliance deliverables
- Partner with Finance and our broker to drive cost optimization strategies while safeguarding benefit quality and perceived value
- Oversee relationships with U.S. benefit vendors and our global broker, holding partners accountable for performance, service, and innovation
- Implement operational process improvements to streamline administration, reduce complexity, and enhance employee experience
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all U.S. federal and state regulations
- Support global benefits initiatives by sharing best practices and contributing to cross-regional projects as needed
- Provide clear, employee-friendly communications that make complex benefits topics easy to understand and engaging
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, Legal, and Communications to ensure programs are integrated into the overall employee value proposition
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in US benefits management, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and employees
- Demonstrated expertise in program design, administration, and compliance
- Proven ability to design and deliver multi-year benefits strategies that balance cost, competitiveness, and employee experience
- Strong track record of vendor and broker management; global broker relationship experiences desirable
- Experience with cost optimization, plan design evaluation, and process improvements in benefits administration
- Skilled in program management with the ability to translate strategy into operational execution
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex benefits concepts in clear, employee-friendly language
- Strong analytical mindset; able to interpret plan data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements
- Familiarity with HRIS and benefits administration platforms; comfort navigating data analytics tools
