About the role
- Provide scientifically rigorous therapeutic support and advisory services to pulmonologists in hospitals and outpatient settings, with a focus on severe asthma.
- Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., by conducting market and potential analyses, and identify market opportunities.
- Consistently implement the company strategy and develop measures (continuing education concepts, training programs) to ensure target achievement while considering the individual needs of each target group/customer.
- Create account plans and allocate the available budget for targeted measures in close cooperation with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Therapy Area Specialists from other regions.
- Implement account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external regulations and codes.
- Work closely with First Line Sales Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and Marketing to gain stakeholder insights and optimize marketing, sales, and medical activities.
- Develop and implement innovative continuing education concepts that reflect current customer needs.
- Participate in congresses, sponsorships, and events as platforms for customer engagement and professional development.
Requirements
- A degree in business administration or a natural science, or certification as a pharmaceutical representative (m/f/d).
- Experience supporting specialist physicians in hospitals and outpatient settings as a field-based representative, as well as experience in the respiratory therapy area or with products in the biologics sector.
- Solid product, market, and customer knowledge.
- Experience in account management.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel / mobility.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Proficiency in German and English.
