About the role
- Prospecting: Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Generate new leads through outreach including calls, emails, and social engagement.
- Lead Qualification: Use effective questioning to assess business needs and determine alignment with our ERP and SaaS offerings. Disqualify leads that are not a fit to ensure time is focused on high-potential opportunities.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls and meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives or Solution Consultants.
- Relationship Building: Develop initial relationships with business owners and key decision-makers by understanding their challenges and presenting how our solutions can add value.
- Reporting: Track and report key performance metrics such as meetings booked, leads qualified, and conversion rates to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and share feedback from the market.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, Sales Development, or similar client-facing role.
- Experience or familiarity with ERP systems, SaaS platforms, or B2B technology sales preferred.
- Comfortable engaging directly with business owners and executives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to challenges.
