About the role
- Provides engineering plans and designs for Special Systems for aviation and transportation projects
- Provide design expertise in Special Systems such as fiber optics, telecom rooms, network architecture, video surveillance systems, access control systems, airport operational systems
- Develop coordinated design documents and models using Revit BIM and CAD platforms
- Supports QA/QC reviews by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards
- Participates in project design meetings and coordination sessions, providing technical input as needed
- Prepares bid documents, construction drawings, and specifications in collaboration with the project team
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related
- 5-years minimum Telecom, Security, Low Voltage, or Special Systems design experience required
- Strong knowledge of low voltage, telecom, technology, and security systems design
- Understanding of engineering design packages and production workflows
- Proficiency in Revit BIM and CAD preferred
- Knowledge of QA/QC process and ability to produce technically accurate deliverables
