About the role

  • Lead the deployment of credit products across the full lifecycle—from application and decisioning to fraud prevention and account management.
  • Lead model governance for credit risk and decisioning models, ensuring compliance, validation, and ongoing performance monitoring to support sound consumer lending decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product design, commercial leaders, project management, IT, legal, compliance, operations, infosec, and finance to deliver system enhancements and credit practice changes.
  • Coordinate with Credit Operations and Implementation teams to ensure credit policies, procedures, and training materials accurately reflect deployed tools and technologies.
  • Translate credit and fraud strategies into actionable solutions by partnering with Credit Strategy & Analytics and Fraud teams to deliver integrated tools, processes, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Maintain and continuously update accurate diagrams and documentation of credit systems and workflows for use in audits, IT development, and executive communication.
  • Apply project management expertise to drive timely deployment of credit initiatives, ensuring transparency in timelines, scope, and key milestones.
  • Manage initiative progress using cloud-based tools to maintain transparency and enable rapid decision-making among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular briefings to executive leadership on credit product initiatives, including progress, strategic purpose, anticipated impact, and ROI.
  • Investigate and anticipate downstream impacts of credit decisions on internal and external stakeholders, ensuring holistic risk and process management.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in all aspects of credit operations—from system infrastructure and processes to strategic and analytical elements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field, or commensurate experience required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 12 years of related work experience with progressively elevated roles required
  • 7 years of people management experience required
  • 5 years of experience in the financial industry required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
