About the role
- Provide Data Center and Cloud Computing Engineering support to the Numerical Weather Models (NWM) program
- Perform system analysis and develop system specifications
- Provide technical reviews of design and development specifications of software applications and systems
- Support the certification, maintenance, and testing of software applications
- Advise the Government to ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Assess technical and architectural changes for impact to IPT-specific software
- Support development of program documents
- Support the Program Chief Engineer and engineering authorities as requested
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
- Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 10+ years of relevant experience (12+ years preferred) or BA/BS with 12+ years of relevant experience (15 years preferred) or 18+ years of relevant experience (20 years preferred)
- 5 years of experience in the DoD
- Certifications: Current Security+ or equivalent required
- CISSP certification is desired
