About the role

  • You will primarily work with: Laravel (PHP 8) for the backend
  • Vue.js & JavaScript for interactive frontends
  • Tailwind CSS for fast and efficient styling
  • MySQL & Redis for high-performance data storage
  • Git for version control
  • Ionic/Capacitor for mobile apps
  • S3/MinIO for object storage
  • You will have the opportunity to actively shape the development of extensive browser clients, mobile apps, and robust backends
  • Designing, developing and implementing new features for our web applications
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing systems in both front- and backend
  • Ensuring code quality and performance
  • Active participation in code reviews and architecture discussions
  • Collaborating with product management and UX/UI designers to create optimal user experiences

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in full-stack web development
  • Strong knowledge of PHP 8, the Laravel framework, and RESTful APIs
  • Excellent JavaScript skills and experience with modern frontend frameworks, especially Vue.js 2 & 3 (Options API)
  • Practical experience with databases (MySQL) and caching systems (Redis)
  • Confident use of Git for version control
  • Server knowledge: good understanding of working with Linux servers (especially Ubuntu) and the ability to reliably administer server environments
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Ionic/Capacitor and S3 is an advantage but not required
  • An eye for clean code, best practices, and the ability to write maintainable and scalable code
  • Team player with a solution-oriented working style
  • Fluent German (spoken and written, at least C1); English skills are welcome
