About the role

  • Focuses on improving the look, feel, and usability of the Streamlit app
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure the product is user-centered and accessible
  • Improve the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of the Streamlit app
  • Work closely with developers to create clean, intuitive interfaces aligned with product goals
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups
  • Create and maintain design systems and visual guidelines
  • Collaborate with developers to implement UI designs in Streamlit
  • Evaluate user feedback and analytics to inform design improvements
  • Document UX flows and design decisions

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in UX/UI Design, HCI, or related field
  • 2–5 years in UX/UI roles with demonstrable design portfolio
  • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
  • Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility principles (WCAG)
  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS concepts and front-end collaboration
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Strong UX portfolio showcasing design thinking and usability improvements
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven, iterative design
  • Clear ability to turn requirements into functional, attractive designs
  • Understanding of working within technical constraints (e.g., Streamlit UI limitations)
  • Excellent communication and feedback integration skills
