About the role
- Direct and strategically lead a diverse global team across Singapore, China and Bangalore
- Deliver effective control and business supervision around rogues’ risk trading
- Mitigate operational risk and protect the franchise through assertive operations of validation and non-validation controls and timely reconciliation and process of brokerage invoices
- Work closely with various stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Business Managers, Desk Risk Managers, Markets Surveillance, Control testing teams, Audit and Technology teams
- Supervise controls monitoring of Cancel & Amends, Off-Markets Rate and Backdated transactions
- Oversee trade reconciliations between trade capture systems
- Manage brokerage services in reconciling and arranging brokerage invoices for payment
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Control Testing and Audit
- Extensive knowledge of Markets Products (FX, Rates, Commodities, Credit)
- Extensive experience in working closely with control testing/auditors/regulators
- Excellent knowledge of Operational Risk Management principles, Trade Surveillance, Reconciliations and Controls
- Ability to engineer new controls to adapt to regulatory needs
- Provide effective business support services, including the change management to a new operating model, within the agreed cost and resourcing budget
- Maintain and define robust process, procedures and operating model to minimise operational losses
- Build collaborative relationships with business partners and other key stakeholders
- Review, document and enhance existing controls and parameters
